This Thread is dedicated in solving 6600 Contact Retailer "phone start
up failed, contact retailer" problem.
This method of troubleshooting can also be used in Nokia handsets like:
3650-60/3230/7610 & 6260.
The method that I will share in this thread are based on my
work-experience and research.
STEP1
6600 Contact retailer troubleshooting via software:
Method 1
1- Hand Format (power-on/call/*/3)
2- Format (UFS/JAF)
Method 2
1- Use erase files
2- Flash to its original firmware
3- Write PM
4- Format
3- Unlock
STEP2
6600 Contact retailer troubleshooting via hardware:
Method 1
1- Check UEM Serial
2- If Serial is ????????????... REPLACE UEM and write NEW RPL or if the
UEM is still believed to be of good hardware condition... apply LOG via
FUFENU/JAF or UB
3- Flash the unit to its Original firmware
4- Format and unlock
Method 2
1- If UEM Serial is OK....
2- If Software Toubleshooting is already applied and still Contact
Retailer...
3- Change F11 and F13 (refer to pics below)
4- Before you replace F11&F12... make sure that you have a back-up
of UEM Serial
5- Do Method 2 of Software Troubleshooting
